Singapore–China Relations

Singapore's relationship with the People's Republic of China is one of its deepest bilateral ties: formal diplomatic relations since 1990, China as Singapore's largest trading partner since 2013, Singapore as China's largest foreign investor, three flagship government-to-government projects, and a layered free-trade agreement — all managed within Singapore's wider balancing act between Beijing and Washington.
