Industry Guru Series

Singapore's People's Association (PA) Industry Guru Series is a customised professional-networking and development programme for youths and working professionals. PA describes three connected formats: sharing sessions with speakers and industry leaders, Deep Dive Learning Courses for self-development, and Learning Journeys hosted by industry experts (People's Association, updated 30 June 2026). The series is a community learning and networking platform, not a job-placement service, professional licence or guarantee of employment.

Networking and sharing sessions

The Industry Guru Series is intended to help youths and working professionals network, exchange ideas and gain insights through sharing sessions led by esteemed speakers and industry leaders (People's Association, updated 30 June 2026). The page describes the purpose and audience but does not establish that every session is open to every person, that the same speaker or industry is repeated, or that attending produces a formal qualification.

Deep Dive Learning Courses

PA says the series includes Deep Dive Learning Courses for self-development. The categories describe the series' broad course scope, not an exhaustive catalogue or a promise that every course is available at every Community Club. Course fees, dates, prerequisites, places, provider and any certificate depend on the specific listing. The PA page does not state that all Deep Dive courses are free, SkillsFuture-funded or recognised as a nationally regulated qualification.

Industry-hosted Learning Journeys

Industry Guru Learning Journeys let participants broaden their horizons through site tours and sharing sessions hosted by industry experts. PA says participants can gain insight into industries and companies from insiders (People's Association, updated 30 June 2026). A Learning Journey is consequently an exposure and learning format, not an internship, recruitment commitment or guarantee of access to confidential company information.

The site, host, schedule and participation requirements are specific to each journey. The existence of one hosted tour does not prove that every sector or company is represented, that participants receive employment consideration, or that all tours have the same safety or access arrangements.

It should not be merged with SkillsFuture's national credit and subsidy rules or with PA SHIOK Series, which is a separate MESRA-led community programme with its own subject range and partners.
