SMEs Go Digital
Singapore's SMEs Go Digital programme, led by IMDA, helps small and medium-sized enterprises identify digital needs, follow sector roadmaps, adopt pre-approved solutions and obtain relevant support.
SMEs Go Digital
Singapore's SMEs Go Digital is an IMDA programme and one-stop platform that helps small and medium-sized enterprises identify business problems, find digital solutions and build digital capability (IMDA, page last updated 28 April 2026 and accessed 5 October 2026). It combines advisory tools, sector-specific Industry Digital Plans and pre-approved solutions; it is not itself a universal grant or one mandatory software package. The funding route attached to a solution can change independently of the platform, so historical claims about a named grant must be checked against that grant's current status.
Support for SMEs
SMEs can use Go Digital Advisor to identify business challenges and discover matching solutions, consult Industry Digital Plans for step-by-step sector guidance, and explore market-proven pre-approved solutions (IMDA, page last updated 28 April 2026 and accessed 5 October 2026). IMDA also lists Chief Technology Officer-as-a-Service, Advanced Digital Solutions, InvoiceNow and the Digital Enterprise Blueprint among the programme's support or related routes. The appropriate route depends on the firm's needs and sector; the presence of a solution on the platform does not by itself establish current grant eligibility or approval.
Industry Digital Plans and advisory
Industry Digital Plans (IDPs) guide SMEs through digital solutions and training at different stages of business growth, aligned with the relevant Industry Transformation Map (IMDA, accessed 30 August 2026). An IDP is a roadmap, not itself proof that every listed solution is funded or that every company receives the same support. Firms needing more tailored help can use CTO-as-a-Service for digital-readiness assessment, solution recommendations and access to digital consultancy or project-management support (IMDA, accessed 30 August 2026).
Current scale and grant boundary
IMDA's 7 October 2025 announcement said the revamped platform allowed SMEs to browse and compare more than 300 pre-approved solutions and reported that 30% of those solutions were AI-enabled as of 2024 (IMDA, 7 October 2025, rechecked 5 October 2026). These are dated catalogue and AI-share snapshots, not current installed-use statistics. The platform's grant-linked descriptions must be read alongside later scheme changes rather than treated as a guarantee that a grant remains open.
Grant transition after September 2026
The Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG), which previously supported eligible purchases of pre-approved digital solutions, ceased accepting new applications after 29 September 2026. Enterprise Singapore states that businesses should apply for new business grant support under the EDGE Grant from 30 September 2026; its EDGE page includes Automation & Digitalisation among the business areas and says eligible support varies by activity (Enterprise Singapore, PSG transition notice and EDGE Grant, accessed 5 October 2026; Enterprise Singapore, EDGE Grant, accessed 5 October 2026). Existing PSG projects submitted before the transition continue to be processed under the former scheme and may be claimed after project completion; the change applies to new applications, not those already in progress (Enterprise Singapore, PSG transition notice, accessed 5 October 2026). SMEs should use the current EDGE activity list or BizSG recommender to check whether a specific digital project is supported; do not carry forward the former PSG ceiling or assume that every SMEs Go Digital listing automatically qualifies under EDGE.
Vendors, partners and related programmes
SMEs Go Digital also includes routes for ICM vendors to seek pre-approval of solutions and for industry partners to support SME digitalisation (IMDA, page last updated 28 April 2026 and accessed 5 October 2026). The programme should be distinguished from Digital Utilities, which are shared digital infrastructure such as identity, e-invoicing and data exchange, and from DigitalAccess@Home, which supports household broadband and devices. SMEs Go Digital helps businesses identify and adopt digital solutions; it does not make every listed solution compulsory, promise grant support under a discontinued scheme, or replace the legal, tax and sector requirements that apply to a particular business.
