NEA states that the carbon tax applicable to industrial facilities with annual direct GHG emissions of at least 25,000 tCO₂e is S$45 per tonne for emissions years 2026 and 2027 (after S$25 per tonne in 2024 and 2025), with a view of reaching S$50–S$80 per tonne by 2030 (NEA Carbon Tax, accessed Aug 2026).
