Denominator traps

  • TAP Global Co-production S$1.2 million ≠ MTPP Go-Global+ S$900,000. Different programme labels and category names; quote the brief that matches the call year.
  • S$10 million On-Screen Fund ≠ open TAP/MTPP CFP. On-Screen is invitation-only for major international partners; local feature CFPs are separate.
  • 8.40 million attendances ≠ unique residents. It is annual cinema admissions, not population.
  • SFC ≠ NAC. Screen industry development sits with IMDA/SFC; music and most live arts funding sit with NAC under MCCY (see music industry anchors).
  • Grant award ≠ classification. Receiving IMDA production funding does not replace Films Act classification for public exhibition (censorship and imda).
