Race to Sustainability 2026

Race to Sustainability! is scheduled at Gardens by the Bay from 21 October to 29 November 2026 as a Clean & Green Singapore satellite event. The 2026 edition marks the event’s 10th anniversary and uses sustainability activities to connect conservation, plant diversity and climate-change learning with public and school participation (Clean & Green Singapore, accessed 5 September 2026).

School programme

The listed post-examination scavenger hunt is open to primary and secondary school groups. The published sessions are 21 and/or 22 October for Primary 6 to Secondary 4/5 students, and 4 November for Primary 3 to 5 students, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The stated fee is S$6 per student, teacher or parent volunteer, including Flower Dome admission; schools must register through the event information rather than treating the programme as unrestricted walk-in access (Clean & Green Singapore, accessed 5 September 2026).

The programme is presented with support from the Building and Construction Authority, Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Housing and Development Board, National Environment Agency, Singapore Food Agency and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Their participation indicates a cross-sector learning format; it does not merge the agencies’ separate regulatory roles or create a new school curriculum (Clean & Green Singapore, accessed 5 September 2026).

Public learning and boundaries

Clean & Green Singapore also lists guided weekend Nature and Sustainability Tours at Gardens by the Bay, covering sustainable design, energy-efficient solutions, flora and fauna, biodiversity and climate change. The page says these tours are made possible by Keppel and directs visitors to the relevant programme information for dates and registration (Clean & Green Singapore, accessed 5 September 2026).

Race to Sustainability is an event and education programme, not a general legal duty to attend or a claim that a participant has completed formal environmental training. Fees, age bands, registration requirements and individual session availability should be checked against the organiser’s current listing (Clean & Green Singapore, accessed 5 September 2026; gardens by the bay).
