Crosscurrents: Louvre Islamic Art at the Asian Civilisations Museum (2026)

Crosscurrents: Masterpieces of Mughal, Safavid and Ottoman Art from the Musée du Louvre is an Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) exhibition running from 19 June 2026 to 24 January 2027. It brings Louvre Islamic-art works into dialogue with objects from ACM’s Southeast Asian collections, using artistic exchange and interconnected histories as its interpretive frame (MCCY, 18 June 2026).

Exhibition scope and Singapore-France context

The exhibition is a collaboration between ACM and the Musée du Louvre and forms part of the wider vOilah! France Singapore Festival. MCCY describes the exhibition as presenting works associated with the Mughal, Safavid and Ottoman empires and highlighting connections across Europe, Asia and the Middle East; it is a museum exhibition, not a diplomatic agreement, and does not purport to be a universal survey of Islamic art (MCCY, 18 June 2026).

Dates and access boundary

The stated exhibition period is 19 June 2026–24 January 2027 at ACM. Current admission prices, opening hours, programmes and gallery arrangements should be checked with ACM because they can change; the exhibition dates do not by themselves establish free entry for every visitor or access to every related programme (MCCY, 18 June 2026).
