The Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR) cover the 33 categories listed by CPSO on 23 June 2026 of household electrical, electronic and gas appliances or accessories called Controlled Goods. The transfer announcement used the then-established **CCCS** abbreviation; the same Commission now uses **CCS** publicly. The model must meet the applicable safety standard and carry the SAFETY Mark. Registration uses a Certificate of Conformity from a designated conformity-assessment body for medium- and high-risk goods, or a Supplier's Declaration of Conformity for low-risk goods. The CPSO lists 33 categories and their current classification; category definitions can be narrower than ordinary product names, so consult the live list rather than inferring from a product's marketing label ([CPSO, CPSR overview](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/overview-of-cpsr\/); [CPSO, list of Controlled Goods](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/list-of-controlled-goods\/)).\n\nThe mark identifies a registered Controlled Good and has a unique eight-digit registration number. It is not required on all consumer goods, and the CPSO says non-Controlled Goods do not need it. Consumers can search the CPSO register by model number or the mark's registration number and check that the model details match and the registration has not expired. A mark is evidence of the specified product-registration and conformity process; it is not a blanket government endorsement of every feature, a promise that the product can never fail, or a separate warranty or refund right. Under the CGSR, general consumer goods must meet applicable published safety standards and additional requirements in the CPSO information booklet. The CPSO describes these requirements for goods such as toys, children's products, apparel, furniture, bedding, recreational equipment and tools. Suppliers\u2014including manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers\u2014are expected to supply safe goods. If general consumer goods do not meet applicable safety standards, it can direct suppliers to stop sales and inform users of potential dangers; the CPSR separately provides registration, suspension and prohibition powers for Controlled Goods. A safety alert may concern a product that is not in the SAFETY Mark scheme. The alert pages include both safety notices and recalls, and may direct owners to stop using a product or follow the supplier's repair or replacement process. CPSR\uff0c\u4f9b\u5e94\u5546\u5fc5\u987b\u5148\u6ce8\u518c\uff0c\u5177\u4f53\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u578b\u53f7\u4e5f\u5fc5\u987b\u5728\u5e7f\u544a\u5ba3\u4f20\u6216\u9500\u552e\u524d\u6ce8\u518c\u3002\u8be5\u578b\u53f7\u5fc5\u987b\u7b26\u5408\u9002\u7528\u7684\u5b89\u5168\u6807\u51c6\u5e76\u8d34\u6709 SAFETY Mark\u3002\u4e2d\u98ce\u9669\u548c\u9ad8\u98ce\u9669\u5546\u54c1\u987b\u63d0\u4ea4\u6307\u5b9a\u5408\u683c\u8bc4\u5b9a\u673a\u6784\u9881\u53d1\u7684\u7b26\u5408\u6027\u8bc1\u4e66\uff1b\u4f4e\u98ce\u9669\u5546\u54c1\u5219\u987b\u63d0\u4ea4\u4f9b\u5e94\u5546\u7b26\u5408\u6027\u58f0\u660e\u3002CPSO \u5217\u660e 33 \u7c7b\u5546\u54c1\u53ca\u5176\u5f53\u524d\u5206\u7c7b\uff1b\u7c7b\u522b\u5b9a\u4e49\u53ef\u80fd\u6bd4\u65e5\u5e38\u4f7f\u7528\u7684\u4ea7\u54c1\u540d\u79f0\u66f4\u4e3a\u72ed\u7a84\uff0c\u56e0\u6b64\u5e94\u67e5\u8be2\u6700\u65b0\u6e05\u5355\uff0c\u4e0d\u8981\u4ec5\u51ed\u4ea7\u54c1\u7684\u8425\u9500\u6807\u7b7e\u5224\u65ad\uff08[CPSO\uff0cCPSR \u6982\u8ff0](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/overview-of-cpsr\/)\uff1b[CPSO\uff0c\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u6e05\u5355](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/list-of-controlled-goods\/)\uff09\u3002\n\n\u8be5\u6807\u5fd7\u8868\u660e\u5546\u54c1\u5df2\u6ce8\u518c\u4e3a\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\uff0c\u5e76\u5e26\u6709\u552f\u4e00\u7684\u516b\u4f4d\u963f\u62c9\u4f2f\u6570\u5b57\u6ce8\u518c\u53f7\u7801\u3002\u5e76\u975e\u6240\u6709\u6d88\u8d39\u54c1\u90fd\u987b\u8d34\u6709\u8be5\u6807\u5fd7\uff1bCPSO \u8868\u793a\uff0c\u975e\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u4e0d\u9700\u8981\u8be5\u6807\u5fd7\u3002\u6d88\u8d39\u8005\u53ef\u6309\u578b\u53f7\u6216\u6807\u5fd7\u4e0a\u7684\u6ce8\u518c\u53f7\u7801\u67e5\u8be2 CPSO \u4e00\u822c\u6d88\u8d39\u54c1\u4ecd\u987b\u7b26\u5408\u5b89\u5168\u8981\u6c42\n\n\u6ca1\u6709\u5217\u5165\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u7684\u5546\u54c1\uff0c\u4e0d\u4f1a\u56e0\u4e3a\u6ca1\u6709 SAFETY Mark \u5c31\u4e0d\u53d7\u76d1\u7ba1\u3002\u6839\u636e CGSR\uff0c\u4e00\u822c\u6d88\u8d39\u54c1\u5fc5\u987b\u7b26\u5408\u9002\u7528\u7684\u5df2\u516c\u5e03\u5b89\u5168\u6807\u51c6\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca CPSO \u4fe1\u606f\u624b\u518c\u4e2d\u7684\u5176\u4ed6\u8981\u6c42\u3002CPSO \u53ef\u6307\u793a\u4f9b\u5e94\u5546\u505c\u6b62\u9500\u552e\uff0c\u5e76\u544a\u77e5\u7528\u6237\u6f5c\u5728\u5371\u9669\uff1bCPSR \u5219\u53e6\u884c\u89c4\u5b9a\u9488\u5bf9\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u7684\u6ce8\u518c\u3001\u6682\u505c\u548c\u7981\u552e\u6743\u529b\u3002\u5b89\u5168\u8b66\u793a\u53ef\u80fd\u6d89\u53ca\u4e0d\u5c5e\u4e8e SAFETY Mark \u67e5\u8be2\u5b89\u5168\u8b66\u793a\uff0c\u5e76\u533a\u5206\u5b89\u5168\u6267\u6cd5\u4e0e\u4e2a\u4eba\u8865\u6551\n\n\u6d88\u8d39\u8005\u53ef\u67e5\u8be2 CPSO \u7684\u5b89\u5168\u8b66\u793a\u548c\u53ec\u56de\u9875\u9762\uff0c\u4e86\u89e3\u53d7\u5f71\u54cd\u4ea7\u54c1\u3001\u9075\u5faa\u5177\u4f53\u6307\u793a\uff0c\u5e76\u5728\u53d1\u73b0\u4ea7\u54c1\u7591\u4f3c\u4e0d\u5b89\u5168\u6216\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u7f3a\u5c11\u6709\u6548\u6807\u5fd7\u65f6\uff0c\u5411 The Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR) cover the 33 categories listed by CPSO on 23 June 2026 of household electrical, electronic and gas appliances or accessories called Controlled Goods. The Consumer Protection (Consumer Goods Safety Requirements) Regulations 2011 (CGSR) cover general consumer goods, including examples such as toys, children's products, apparel, furniture, sports and recreation goods, and DIY tools. The transfer announcement used the then-established **CCCS** abbreviation; the same Commission now uses **CCS** publicly. The model must meet the applicable safety standard and carry the SAFETY Mark. Registration uses a Certificate of Conformity from a designated conformity-assessment body for medium- and high-risk goods, or a Supplier's Declaration of Conformity for low-risk goods. The CPSO lists 33 categories and their current classification; category definitions can be narrower than ordinary product names, so consult the live list rather than inferring from a product's marketing label ([CPSO, CPSR overview](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/overview-of-cpsr\/); [CPSO, list of Controlled Goods](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/list-of-controlled-goods\/)).\n\nThe mark identifies a registered Controlled Good and has a unique eight-digit registration number. It is not required on all consumer goods, and the CPSO says non-Controlled Goods do not need it. Consumers can search the CPSO register by model number or the mark's registration number and check that the model details match and the registration has not expired. A mark is evidence of the specified product-registration and conformity process; it is not a blanket government endorsement of every feature, a promise that the product can never fail, or a separate warranty or refund right. Under the CGSR, general consumer goods must meet applicable published safety standards and additional requirements in the CPSO information booklet. The CPSO describes these requirements for goods such as toys, children's products, apparel, furniture, bedding, recreational equipment and tools. Suppliers\u2014including manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers\u2014are expected to supply safe goods. A safety alert may concern a product that is not in the SAFETY Mark scheme. These rules are distinct from the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act's individual remedies for a faulty purchase.\n\n## Two product-safety regimes apply to different goods\n\nSingapore's general product-safety framework is not a single approval scheme. The Consumer Protection (Safety Requirements) Regulations (CPSR) cover the 33 categories listed by CPSO on 23 June 2026 of household electrical, electronic and gas appliances or accessories called Controlled Goods. The Consumer Protection (Consumer Goods Safety Requirements) Regulations 2011 (CGSR) cover general consumer goods, including examples such as toys, children's products, apparel, furniture, sports and recreation goods, and DIY tools. The transfer announcement used the then-established **CCCS** abbreviation; the same Commission now uses **CCS** publicly. The model must meet the applicable safety standard and carry the SAFETY Mark. Registration uses a Certificate of Conformity from a designated conformity-assessment body for medium- and high-risk goods, or a Supplier's Declaration of Conformity for low-risk goods. The CPSO lists 33 categories and their current classification; category definitions can be narrower than ordinary product names, so consult the live list rather than inferring from a product's marketing label ([CPSO, CPSR overview](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/overview-of-cpsr\/); [CPSO, list of Controlled Goods](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cpsr\/list-of-controlled-goods\/)).\n\nThe mark identifies a registered Controlled Good and has a unique eight-digit registration number. It is not required on all consumer goods, and the CPSO says non-Controlled Goods do not need it. Consumers can search the CPSO register by model number or the mark's registration number and check that the model details match and the registration has not expired. A mark is evidence of the specified product-registration and conformity process; it is not a blanket government endorsement of every feature, a promise that the product can never fail, or a separate warranty or refund right. Under the CGSR, general consumer goods must meet applicable published safety standards and additional requirements in the CPSO information booklet. The CPSO describes these requirements for goods such as toys, children's products, apparel, furniture, bedding, recreational equipment and tools. Suppliers\u2014including manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers\u2014are expected to supply safe goods. If general consumer goods do not meet applicable safety standards, it can direct suppliers to stop sales and inform users of potential dangers; the CPSR separately provides registration, suspension and prohibition powers for Controlled Goods. A safety alert may concern a product that is not in the SAFETY Mark scheme. Therefore, absence of the mark alone does not establish that a toy or piece of furniture is being sold illegally; first determine whether the item is actually a Controlled Good, then apply the correct safety regime ([CPSO, CGSR overview](https:\/\/www.consumerproductsafety.gov.sg\/suppliers\/cgsr\/overview-of-cgsr\/); [SSO, CPSR](https:\/\/sso.agc.gov.sg\/SL\/CPTDSRA1975-RG1)).\n\n## Check alerts and separate safety action from personal redress\n\nConsumers can check the CPSO's safety-alert and recall pages for affected products, follow the product-specific instructions, and contact the CPSO with identifying details if a product appears unsafe or a Controlled Good lacks a valid mark. The alert pages include both safety notices and recalls, and may direct owners to stop using a product or follow the supplier's repair or replacement process. CPSO\/CCS product-safety enforcement addresses market compliance and risks; it does not determine the buyer's individual Lemon Law remedy or itself decide a refund claim. If a purchased item does not conform to the sales contract, the buyer may need to assess the separate CPFTA\/Lemon Law remedies and complaint route in [consumer protection and lemon law](\/en\/knowledge\/article\/sgkb.consumer.consumer-protection-and-lemon-law) or [case and dispute resolution](\/en\/knowledge\/article\/sgkb.consumer.case-and-dispute-resolution). \u8fdb\u884c\u4e0a\u5e02\u540e\u76d1\u6d4b\u3002\u5982\u679c\u4e00\u822c\u6d88\u8d39\u54c1\u4e0d\u7b26\u5408\u9002\u7528\u7684\u5b89\u5168\u6807\u51c6\uff0cCPSO \u53ef\u6307\u793a\u4f9b\u5e94\u5546\u505c\u6b62\u9500\u552e\uff0c\u5e76\u544a\u77e5\u7528\u6237\u6f5c\u5728\u5371\u9669\uff1bCPSR \u5219\u53e6\u884c\u89c4\u5b9a\u9488\u5bf9\u53d7\u7ba1\u5236\u5546\u54c1\u7684\u6ce8\u518c\u3001\u6682\u505c\u548c\u7981\u552e\u6743\u529b\u3002\u5b89\u5168\u8b66\u793a\u53ef\u80fd\u6d89\u53ca\u4e0d\u5c5e\u4e8e
